This place is made of awesome. Becker's Bakery has been in business since 1942! There's a reason for that. The current owner takes an incredible Delight in decorating cakes himself. Every one of them is a masterpiece, bright, brilliant colors, tons of delicious frosting, and more than a little whimsy.
Favourite sandwich place in the area. A bit pricy but so yummy! I have to admit I have only tried a few cookies but even just looking at the wide variation of cakes and cookies is something to pop in for especially on holiday seasons when all of them are special!
I saw this place on the gram and tagged for later. Well today is later and the employee said her favorite is the chocolate chips cookie. OMG she isn't wrong with the crisp edges and nearly raw center!! I'm seriously in heaven. The coffee on draft is yummy rich without being bitter. I'm happy I stopped by on my layover.
Fantastic start to my walk up Manhattan Beach. From here I went to dash dash and then on to sloopy's. A fantastic day of food. Thank you for the start of it. Simple Danish that had some flaky pastry and wonderful toppings with some crumbs. Amazing
It’s a great place for a sandwich or some amazing cookies on Manhattan Ave, just a block off the beach/the pier. A nice big sandwich with a pickle, sugar cookie and chips for $14. Such a deal!
These heart cookies with the pink frosting were literally my lifeblood in the early 2000s as a young chimp running around the AMS Elementary School.

I've been coming to this bakery since I was 4 years old. The sugar cookies are the best I've had pretty much anywhere. I highly recommend any pastries you get here. I do miss the dinosaur cookies but the cookie monster cookies are a must! The flower sugar cookies are amaaaaaazing too. Please just try everything.
one of my favorite spots in MB for a sweet treat! The staff are always the nicest and their cupcakes are my personal favorite :)
